Smart recovery …

Starting the day on a pessimistic note,Nifty plunged sharply in the early part of the day making an intra-day low of around 4600. However it bounced back smartly from those levels to finally close with a handsome gain of 55 points.Volume in Nifty future was significantly higher than the previous trading volumes. 10 lakh shares were added in open interest with an increase in the cost of carry,indicating fresh long built-up. On the option front,implied volatility has once again increased by 150 basis point on account of extremely high intra-day volatility,pointing towards high volatility in the coming days.

Friday is expected to be most interesting day as it is last trading day of week. This week is been more dramatic or explosive from traders. We are having great marry go around of not less then five hundrade points. Big disvenstment desicion of 100 PSU companies came yesterday & market rocks. Huge short Covering Seen .... A great Drama ..... Another interesting day of trade coming up, interesting because yeasterday huge short covering seen in market. last couple of days first on the way down and the second, yesterday on the way up; so, 500 down and then 500 up up & up. Will the Nifty survive its upward journey is a big question for market. The global cues this morning are a bit mixed. US closed in green.

Nifty call option added 3.4 lakh shares in open interest,whereas put option added 30.72 lakh shares in open interest. Patni Computer Services (36%),HDIL (34%),NagarjunaConstruction Company (26%),Lupin laboratories (26%)and Andhra Bank (26%)were the top open interest gainers in the market. Asian Paints (-21%),LIC Housing Finance (-18%),Cummins (-16%)and IDBI (-12%)were the top open interest losers in the market.

Market is expected to open with some positive breadth or positive note. But inspite of good momentum nifty could not cross 4670-4680. it will loss its momentum after morning session.

Tata steel is closed yesterday around 445 mark. It may make high of 467-470 & low of 441-442 & close around 450 level.

Nifty 3'rd Nov 2009 a continue fall

We were back after a long weekend and we could not get momentum for rally. There was a global sell off but we did not participate in that. But we got some pinch of it today. We start in the red but maybe not as badly as most Asian markets started off yesterday.

How Our market behaved toady:

We started a bit soft because all Asian & global markets were trading in red. There is no momentum in the market on the way up at this point at least. So I guess some pain still left to come in future. We try and hang around this kind of levels but upsides or big upsides from here do look a bit difficult. On Nifty Everybody is talking about levels of 4,600 as it was very important level for us. But it came & gone. We closed below 4550. Not a good sign for long traders.

This is not the zone of support that people are talking about. I think one should attempt to buy in small amount. The market has lost quite a bit of ground quickly. You might get odd bounce unexpectedly.

Nifty future Closed 4708 with a loss of 70 points. Its cost of carry also decreased which shows short position either creating or because of uncertainty traders are cutting their long position. Some call writing seen in 4800 & 4900 strike prices.
Nifty future turned into a discount of 4 points from a premium of 24 points and 5 lakh shares were added in open interest. Market Open interest was 83 000 crore and Rs3,000 crore were added in open interest. Nifty call option added 59.00 lakh shares in open interest, whereas put option added 16.90 lakh shares in open interest

In Nifty Six months chart support seen around 4620 & 4550. if Nifty breaks 4400 & support is around 4200.
